Relieving Muscular Tension

square-logo.jpgThe stress of every day living is retained in the muscles and their tensions limit skeletal movement. For example, if you sit at a computer for most of your day, the muscles of your neck and shoulders will become increasingly tight. This is your body’s way of holding the weight of your head and shoulders still while you operate the computer with your hands. This tension is not easily dissipated because we tend to do the same activities every day we work.

Our chiropractor feels it is necessary to remove muscle tension, specific to a joint, before adjusting that joint. After the muscle tension is removed, adjusting the joint will restore joint motion. The combination of muscle therapy and a chiropractic adjustment will notably improve all stress based musculoskeletal conditions.

Our chiropractor performs deep tissue techniques and spends considerable time and effort to release all muscular tensions prior to any adjustment. A standard appointment is 30 mins.
